Doogee Y6 Max with 6.5” display, 3GB RAM & 4300mAh battery launched .

China-based Smartphone Company Doogee came up with a large screen smartphone. The company announced Y6 Max smartphone along with 6.5-inch display and 4300mAh battery built in the smartphone. Doogee is a sub-brand of Hong Kong-based KVD International group. The smartphone is 8.95mm thick and weighs around 250g. It is available in Shimmer gold and Glacier Silver colors.

The company is touting the smartphone as a portable home theater with its 6.5-inch huge display. The resolution of the display is also good with FHD 1920 x 1080 pixels. The pixel density of the screen is 339PPI. The screen of the smartphone is 2.5D glass. The smartphone comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Storage can be expanded up to 128GB via an SD card.

There is a 4300mAh battery in the smartphone to power up the massive big display, and it comes with fast charge support. The smartphone has a full metal body and a fingerprint scanner at the back. The company claims that it can unlock the smartphone in just 0.15 seconds. It comes with 13-megapixel rear cameras with 5-piece lens, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. It is a phase detection Autofocus (PDAF) camera along with Panorama and HDR support. There is 5-megapixel 84-degree wide angle lens front camera as well for the selfie, and it comes with face recognition and anti-shake features. The front camera also comes with auto beautify mode.

The Y6 Max runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. There is 1.5GHz MTK6750T Cortex-A53 64 bit octa-core processor along with ARM Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. Talking about connectivity in the smartphone, it is a dual SIM smartphone and comes with 4G LTE support. It comes with triple card slots which allow user to insert two SIM cards or one Micro SD card.

There are light sensor, proximity sensor, gravity sensor, accelerometer sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, electronic compass and gyroscope on board. The smartphone also comes with Hi-Fi audio which gives good quality sound while MEMS microphone on board reduces noise while recording something.

We have seen a lot of big display smartphone in the market like Lenovo Phab Plus with a gigantic 6.8-inch screen. And Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra with same size display. Huawei also launched Ascend P8 Max with a 6.8-inch display. The latest and popular entry in big display smartphone was Xiaomi Mi Mix with a 6.4-inch display and 91.3 percent screen to body ratio.
